Season of quirky prints

Is there anything new about summer? Well, it is just another season that comes as a part of the natural cycle… Sounds monotonous already? Well, you can turn this boredom into a whole new fun time altogether. Just get quirky with your plans as well as the prints that you sport. Here’s how to do it:

Give a miss to florals:

While botanical prints like flowers and leaves were ruling the runways last summer, this time you can choose to go rather geometric.

It is less feminine and more boho chic when you have bold prints with sharp, defined lines smartly gracing the silhouettes. In fact, quirky prints on bags and shoes can also make the look interesting.

Keep to solid pastels:

This time pop colours have taken a back seat while their more muted versions are taking centre stage. Long, maxi dresses work best for classy evening dos.

A hint of mint, powder blue, baby pink, lime, peach and such cooler tones keep you up on trend and add graceful charm to the over all ensemble at the same time.

Colour blocking works:

There are some of us who would want a happy mix and match of prints and solids. You can still pull it off with élan if you put together the right combination. Separates are your go to option since layering is more of a winter style. A quirky printed crop top can be teamed up with a well-fitted, a-line skirt in a bright hue. You can also sport a printed bottom wear with a plain top in any colour.

Just make sure it complements your body type when you check yourself in the mirror.

No matter what you choose to wear, simply enjoy the sunny days in style!
